Reviews and Ratings
I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The rooms looked awesome with cozy, cute, and clean decorations, although a bit on the small side. The service was beyond impeccable, although they unlocked the door unexpectedly, and the location was absolutely beautiful, set next to Twin Lakes in the Sierra—a winter wonderland experience. The dining was good, with a nice selection of bagels, pastries, and more, and the facilities were well-maintained.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were small and basic, lacking a private bathroom, but I understand the unique location comes with a higher price tag compared to similar options near Yosemite Valley. The service was friendly and professional, with a handy shuttle service available to downtown Mammoth for convenience. The location by Twin Lakes is stunning and ideal for a peaceful stay, although not all guests may appreciate the separation of the small kitchenette by a wood floor. The dining experience fell short as it felt more like a budget motel than a top-tier resort, especially considering the price paid for the room. Facilities offered were satisfactory, but improvements could enhance the overall experience.
The hotel has stunning views of the lake in cozy, cute, and clean rooms. The service is friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, providing an authentic Yosemite building experience with amazing lake views. The dining offers a wide variety of quality options but could improve regarding the price. The facilities are well-equipped.
I had a memorable stay at the lodge. The rooms were impeccably clean and surprisingly warm despite near-freezing temperatures outside. The service had its mixed moments, with some staff being incredibly friendly, while others were less welcoming. The location, although stunning, required a challenging drive up the mountain. The dining experience was satisfactory with included organic pulled pork, and the facilities were decent overall.
