I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The rooms looked awesome with cozy, cute, and clean decorations, although a bit on the small side. The service was beyond impeccable, although they unlocked the door unexpectedly, and the location was absolutely beautiful, set next to Twin Lakes in the Sierra—a winter wonderland experience. The dining was good, with a nice selection of bagels, pastries, and more, and the facilities were well-maintained.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were small and basic, lacking a private bathroom, but I understand the unique location comes with a higher price tag compared to similar options near Yosemite Valley. The service was friendly and professional, with a handy shuttle service available to downtown Mammoth for convenience. The location by Twin Lakes is stunning and ideal for a peaceful stay, although not all guests may appreciate the separation of the small kitchenette by a wood floor. The dining experience fell short as it felt more like a budget motel than a top-tier resort, especially considering the price paid for the room. Facilities offered were satisfactory, but improvements could enhance the overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms, although small and basic without a private bathroom, were ready and functional based on the reservations. The compact nature of the rooms may not justify the higher cost compared to alternatives near Yosemite Valley.
Service
8.0
The staff at the hotel were understanding and provided a friendly yet professional service. The availability of a shuttle service to downtown Mammoth was a convenience for planning various activities.
Location
9.0
The location by Twin Lakes is absolutely beautiful and perfect for those seeking a comfortable stay away from the busyness of Mammoth town. Accessible trails nearby make it an excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts, even though some may find the arrangement of the kitchenette a bit unusual.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was disappointing, resembling that of a cheap motel rather than a high-end resort. The offerings could be improved to match the price point of the rooms.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities provided were decent, though some enhancements could increase the overall satisfaction, especially considering the value for the money spent.

I had a memorable stay at the lodge. The rooms were impeccably clean and surprisingly warm despite near-freezing temperatures outside. The service had its mixed moments, with some staff being incredibly friendly, while others were less welcoming. The location, although stunning, required a challenging drive up the mountain. The dining experience was satisfactory with included organic pulled pork, and the facilities were decent overall.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was in the lodge, which turned out to be a fortunate choice as the cabins lost power. Despite the cold outside, my room was cozy and warm, providing a comfortable retreat after a chilly night.
Service
7.0
The staff, including Josh, Jerry, Brian, James, David, Brian, Tito, and Jaime, showed a friendly side during my stay. However, there was an incident where someone knocked on my door rudely during the day, leaving a negative impression.
Location
9.0
The lodge's location at 10,000 ft in the Sierra Nevada offered a picturesque setting, perfect for outdoor activities. However, be prepared for a 26-mile windy drive up the mountain to reach this scenic spot.
Dining
7.0
I appreciated the included organic pulled pork, which was a nice touch to the dining experience. The main lobby's ambiance with the fireplace added to the enjoyable meal.
Facilities
8.0
The lodge's facilities were decent, providing the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The setting next to a wood floor kitchen equipped with essentials added to the cozy ambiance.
